After working across different brands, three years ago, #beautybosses, Sangita Desai and Mohit Saxena, decided it was time to start their own. They created RawNature: a line of high-performing grooming essentials formulated with 100% naturally derived, vegan ingredients to empower people and provide them with products that were safe to use. Can you tell us a bit about yourselves and why you started RawNature?
The vision that we had with RawNature was to provide a high-performing Clean beauty brand and make it affordable to all so that it is not just an indulgence but a regimen making it safe for both, the environment and us. The alternatives available in the market were so prohibitively expensive that there was no way that they could be for daily use and we felt that why should we deprive the masses of adopting clean beauty. Hence this product line and RawNature.
Sangita Desai graduated in Fashion Technology From London and she ran her own fashion label for almost 20 years. Subsequent to that she ran her family business of importing and export of essential oils and fragrance chemicals and opened up many international markets with these products. For the last 3 years, she is now involved completely with RawNature.
Mohit Saxena is a marketing professional who also has about 30 years of experience across many brands. Was part of the senior management of leading advertising agencies in India.

Why is it so important to use vegan and clean products on your body and hair as well?
Vegan products are actually better for our skin and hair. This is especially true for people with sensitive skin or condition-prone skin. Animal-based ingredients or chemicals have a tendency to be harsher, have a higher allergen count, and can even clog pores. Also, plant-based ingredients contain more vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants to repair, moisturize and hydrate the skin.
Hence it is not only important to use Vegan products it is also more efficacious to use them

We continuously educate our customers about clean and vegan beauty via our social media handles on Instagram and Facebook. The main reason our customers patronize us is that we are conscious and natural.
