Can you tell us why you started Blessed Moon?
I am quite clumsy so I’ve lost so many lipsticks and eyeliners that I shoved into my pocket. I always dreamed to have a little kit that has all my must-have makeup tools. Based on my experience and research, there are five fundamental cosmetics that most women use daily: Concealer, cheek, eye shadow, lip, and eyeliner. So I decided to combine them all into one for myself. But then I thought why not share this with everyone whose suffering just like me. This is how I came out with our Blessed Moon Kit.
Your products are extremely unique. They are travel-friendly and refillable. Can you tell us more about this?
Our kit is compact and portable like a smartphone. And the most interesting part about our kit is that you are able to customize the makeup the way you like. Because it has a sliding open case, once you finish with any makeup, you can buy whatever refills that you like and exchange it, and create your own style kit.
Based in Korea, how have you internationally marketed these unique products?
We have been attending a lot of exhibitions all around the World such as in China, Thailand, Hong Kong, Japan, Indonesia, Egypt, USA, Canada, etc. And because of this, we reached out to a lot of B2C and B2B clients. Within 7 months, from the day our Company launched the Blessed Moon Kit, our Instagram account reached more than 89k followers. And we are selling on a lot of international platforms such as Amazon, Yesstyle, Qoo10, etc.
What does the future look like for Blessed Moon?
It’s too early for us to tell what the future of Blessed Moon will look like, but we will try our best to grow strong and steady.
